The program is suitable for both beginners and advanced language levels, ages 18 and up.
The program schedule is Sabbath Observant, meals are Kosher, and the program is open to participants from all backgrounds and faiths.
Established 50 years ago as a part of the Kibbutzim movement, Givat Haviva is a prominent language learning institute in Israel for studying Hebrew and Arabic and the recipient of the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education. Its academic center specializes in teaching English-speakers to successfully speak and think in Hebrew and Arabic.
If practicing and improving your Hebrew is your goal, the 6-weeks track has helped students reach the next level and may be right for you. If you are not yet sure, you may choose to shorten your stay to 4-weeks, which focuses on giving you a taste of the Israeli culture and a good start towards speaking Hebrew
